Sorry to the people who gave their apologies for not being able to attend the District Explorer Meeting at Darfield, however due to the lack of commitment the Carcroft trip on 29.07.08 is cancelled!
Should the apathy continue then the London trip places will be given to deserving Scouts!
It is not for the leadership team to plan, organise and transport Explorers to events - unfortunately part of the transition from child to adult requires effort and commitment (i.e. getting up and doing it, not waiting for it to happen).

London Trip
I am sure you are aware, the trip is now: Arrive London by
midday Weds 29.10.08 and depart the evening Fri 31.10.08,
staying @ YHA London Holland Park.
People wanting to go a deposit of £10 and a completed
permission form (attached) needs to be in to me by Tuesday
15.07.08. I also need to know what size polo shirt/top you take!
Please pass a copy on to any fellow Explorers who I may have
missed in this email shot.

London etc
Looks as though we will be putting the London trip back to the October half term holiday! Roger is doing the music badge next week, then the week after we are @ Darfield. How can we fit it all in? Remember no Activities forms filled in & signed up, then sorry but you'll not be doing the activities!
