Musician 1 to 4 and the Performing Arts badge

To get the music badge off the ground Roger needs to hear Explorers play their
instruments at least twice to evaluate them improving their music pieces. 

You need to play your instruments to Roger at some point, then go away and
work on the pieces and then come back for a replay to show that you have
improved. 

3rd June & 10th June remember to bring your instruments to play 2 or 3 pieces.

The BMBC YOF funding forms are out again. We have until the end of THIS month to complete and get them in. As such if we all are to apply for a 'cultural' trip to London during the summer holidays then we need to get our heads together.

District Camp

There has been some expression of interest to camp together as Explorers and cook/dine as Explorers @ the forthcoming district camp. We are have a District get together next Wednesday @ Wombwell 1930hrs, please bring your ideas and any preferences for a menu! If we are going it alone should we also have our own country?

Explorers Report 2007/8

Explorer Scouting has again officially re-started in Fitzwilliam District this year. We all operate under the same district necker (being allied to our parent groups by the unit logo/emblem), but due to logistics and travel, currently meet at 3 separate group bases.
There are 13 regular Explorer members and several leaders. All Explorers are currently working towards their Chief Scout Platinum and Bronze DOE Awards.
