District Camp Important Info

Hi Guys & Gals,

You can arrive from 5pm on Friday if not already there, please ask your parents to be aware of a different traffic system which will be in force and to please follow the stewards instructions. There will be a one way system in place throughout the weekend. If your parents have booked to stay over the weekend it is suggested that they camp in the over 18s section.

There will be an opening and closing ceromony at which you must wear full uniform and necker. (if you dont have one you can collect one before the ceromony) also Fitzwilliam explorers must wear our necker at all times during the weekend please.

If you have not paid your camp fees then you need to do so by Thursdays meeting please.

Meeting 20/6/11

Hi Guys
The cycling tomorrow night is cancelled for 2 reasons, A Chris Moore is getting old and has done his back in, and B most of the explorers are on junior leader training.

So I will meet you at Silverwood for our crewing weekend next Friday the 24th at 6:30pm

You will need to bring £5 for food only for the weekend, all explorers are expected to attend please, if anyone has a genuine and valid reason for not attending please advise me as soon as possible.

13/6/11, Silverwood bring it and cook it night on the barby, Painting & Challenges

20/6/11, Cycle ride starting from and ending at Silverwood

24-26/6/11, Crewing at Silverwood from Friday evening till Sunday afternoon

27/6/11, No meeting on the Monday, but we will be meeting Thursday (see below)

30/6/11, Meeting at Silverwood to assist in District Camp set up

1-3/7/11, District Camp Fun, Games and Frivolity

4/7/11, No meeting

16/7/11, Bike ride and BBQ at Sherwood Forest area and possible camp (TBA) (Provisional)

18/7/11, No meeting

22-24/7/11 Crewing at Silverwood, then summer break until after the school holidays

Monday 6th Meeting
